My path

Hi I'm Dante, born and raised in Florida. My passion for aviation has fueled my journey for planes and rockets. It started in 3rd grade when I dreamt of flying into space. Of course, I didn't know how I'd get there or what rockets were even made of, but nevertheless I spent the next 9 years exploring while watching my dreams expand. Then came a time where I started reaching out, asking questions and breaking out of my comfort zone. Decided to start joining new clubs, learned about aircraft controls, and made so many failed science experiments that half ended up blowing up before they even reached lift off. Then in 5th I designed my first flying rocket and finally had a success. That moment made me so proud until it stopped 10ft in the air. Frustrated and shocked that all of my effort crashed in seconds, younger me said "Building is so difficult", and "why can't I fly my own rocket into space". The difficulty in understanding that taking control of your path leans on where you place your flaps made me concede. Piecing back together the parts missing so that my plane could take off took immense strength, because growing up always placed you as the copilot. Disciplined reaching for the throttle, I couldn't let this takeoff drift or stall; pitting then regaining control for proper assent, climbing through the scariest part of any journey. The unknown can't stop me if I climb through the fear myself. Every challenge when flying is turbulent, and sometimes it gets confusing. Maintaining the right path can land me anywhere on the runway, but I chose my plan, and its own airway just opened up.
